What a boon to meriden it would be if we could get the whole Middlesex, or I've heard talk of a 13th community college, right in town.

You are able to do that with any matriculated credits from any community college. the location doesn't have anything to do with it.

That's true, but before you had to go to other towns to attend a commumity college. Now you can go to DOWNTOWN MERIDEN to attend. That's a good thing for this community. And wouldn't it be great if, in the near future, Meriden had another full branch of a community college???? I think that Meriden has so many possibilities for the future! It's a great city with diversity, potential and good people.

Actually, I attended Middlesex in Meriden back in the 1980's over at Maloney High School so they've been here for twenty years. I am glad they have expanded their offerings. I could only take so many courses back then and then had to transfer to Mattatuck in Waterbury or Middlesex in Midletown. The downtown campus is great for young people and I hope there are some courses I can pick up as I upgrade from an associate's degree to a bachelor's. It would be great if I could pick up even a few courses here as opposed to driving out of town. On line courses would also be helpful.
