I have been watching the Meriden Council meetings on TV for the last 5 years and I have to say, I have been truly entertained. I have some opinionis on some of the council members and I wanted to share:

Zerio: Single-handedly got the town of Meriden against him and ultimately hate the council. He doesn't know how to manage public comment and only fuels residents' fire. I would like to see him gone.

Gordon: Has his own agenda. Only cares about South Meriden or fruitless topics.

McGoldrick: Stuttering schmuck.

Rhode: Tired...needs to leave.

Kogut: Bright guy...should be in a higher position. Maybe mayor?

Salafia: Why is he there? His deli is not a landmark. It is located in a crappy area. And we all know you can't polish a piece of turd.

Lynes: An overweight, tired women who loves to talk down to others and ride her power trip. One meeting she had a McDonald's soda cup in front of her...hmmm...not surprised.

Dominello: Nice old man...but he is tired. He needs to go and make room for people with motivation.

Santiago: Has potential...but she needs to spread out. Work on being something other than the Hispanic voice.

Tomessetti: You can watch him in all the meetings and read his mind. The guy does not want to be there anymore!!!

Thorpe: Who?

Shady: Pat Lynes long lost sister?

Mayor Benigni: Do we miss Joe Marinan? Mark is good for kids, education, and optimism--but at some time or another, he needs to focus less on schools and more on present day Meriden taxpayers.

Hello...

I couldn't agree more.

C'mon, John12774, are personal attacks necessary? Sure, you can point to poor policies and decisions they come up with, like the We the People mantra about "tax and spend" democrats, but name-calling from an anonymous moniker doesn't take any courage. Grow up.
