Just saw the new Casino Royale last night and have to say I loved it. The new Bond, played by a very muscular and hunky Daniel Craig, had a rugged, yet charming face reminiscent of Sean himself. And Craig had quite the droll sense of humor. No matter what the scene, he came up with a sharp pun and then you'd see his irrestbile grin. And, it was great to see the female lead as a smart, together woman who gained Bond's respect without fluanting her body. The chase scenes, those calling cards of the best Bond films, left little to be desired. The entire theater was silent while they were going on. Have to mention Judy Dench, who came back in her relatively new role as M. She was terrific, right down to showing her exasperation with the newest 007 when he ignored the rules of his trade.
It was a great remake and Craig, who left the audience with a tease at the end of the movie, has just maybe taken over the lead as the best Bond ever.
Sooo, what do you all you 007 fans think? Does this newest 007 cut the mustard?
