As most, if all, of you know MASA is contemplating the use of wood bats for 2008. However, MASA would prefer the teams decide on this change. If you would take a moment to respond, yes or no, and give your team name, MASA will use this feedback to make a decision.

is this going to include the women's teams as well? I'm not sure how my team feels about this, but I vote NO

The women would not be included - they will be allowed to use the aluminum alloy single wall bats.
I might add - the ball for the men would go to the Gold Dot Cor 44 and the homerun limit would be removed.

The consensus on my team, Roden Landscaping, is that we not switch to wood bats.

I'm all for the wooden bats. It will level the playing field and show who can swing a bat instead of having guys crank one out on the tip of a White Steel.

Well if the league does stay with metal - the homerun limit will most likely come down to 2 - 3 homeruns per game allowed.
I vote no to wood bats-
I would like to suggest a tiered hom run limit. ASA & NSA do it and it will encourage the power hitters to play up.
I.E. D-division gets 1 HR, C-division gets 3HR, B-division gets 5HR, and A-division gets 7HR.
I have hit 1 home run in six years, boy was I running fast to get it..
I can't stand when players play down and crank 3-4 homers in a game.
