Hello...

My wife and I went shopping at Stew Leonards this past week. I found the
store's layout choppy and confusing and the animated robots (for kids )
got old in the first 10 minutes. Seems that like Stop & Shop, the future is
LESS product selection ( brands ) and more saled gimmicks - buy 2 and get
one half price.

In any case... my major ***** about this store is the wide screen televisions
at every check out line tuned to... FOX News. My foot will never cross their
doorstep again. That makes 2 stores now... Walmart and S. Leonards.
It would be three but my wife insists on going to Old Navy.

(Why Old Navy.... take the USA Challange.... next time your in that store
TRY and find ONE garment made in the USA...good luck. There are tags in
that store from places I haven't ever heard of before !!! and those places
DONT EVEN HAVE A NAVY!!!!! )

I like Stew Leonards - not for everyday shopping, but maybe once in a while. how can you go wrong with a store that makes their own potatoe chips?
Wal-Mart I can do without, and Old Navy seems to be for the younger crowd. I miss Caldors and Stars.

Hello...

I didn't like the fact that the chips had to be eaten within a few days
least they go...soggy.

Lyman Orchards has a brand of Sweet Potato chips that is excellent...
and ...has the same shelf life of a normal chip.

being ONE of my weaknesses, i have never noticed an expiration date on chips

I like Stew Leonard's but agree that the forced watching of Fox News is offensive. There is a contact us (http://www.stewleonards.com/html/contact_us.cfm) form on the Stew Leonard's website at which I think I'll use to let them know that a more neutral news channel would be appropriate (unless it is a Republicans-only store).
