The Food Network's next star...

I've been watching this from the beginning and it ended tonight...

and I'm not happy.

Last week they were down to the final 2

Jag and Rory

Jag removes himself from the competition because facts from his
past ( lied about graduating from Culinary School and being deployed
in Afghanistan with the Marines )

So... they need 2 final contestants... and they bring back Amy who
was let go the previous week.

When I saw this... i said to my wife... how can they do this ? Amy
was gone...out... history... and if she wins ??? NOT FAIR !!!!

and so what happens....

Audience votes.... Amy wins.

If I were RORY.... I'd be really REALLY ****ED !!!!

Like Idol and Dancing with the stars.... FAVORITES...not talent wins.

Ok... I have vented.

I feel bad for Rory though... I still can't believe they shafted her like
this and give myself credit... for seeing this coming. Must be learning.

Anybody else see this ?

I was disappointed, too, especially after watching Rory's hometown stuff. I think she would have had a fun show. I do have fun with these shows. Isn't it strange how programming has changed so much over the years?

Hello...

What is " strange " about today's programing is how it's engineered for
ratings with pre-determined outcomes.

Like reality shows... American Idol... The Bachelor...you know what I mean.

It does make sense though that the Food Network... eliminating Amy and
going with Rory VS Jag finish was thrown a curve when Jag quit.

I believe they KNEW that Jag would win (over Amy and Rory ) and could
live with that. What they couldn't live with was declaring Rory the winer
and bringing back Amy gave them what THEY believed to be the "better"
matchup.

There people aren't stupid... they just assume that we are.

Also... I went back and watched the ending a second time...
clearly Rory was devistated as she never faced the cameras
once the decision was announced. Sad.

Poor job Food Network...why did I expect them to do what was right ?

I'ts not like it was the Fox Network.... lol
