I got my $150 Moped charging up and parking me V-8 at Ceppa field-just to protest this B.S. [I buy at Citgo if cheap enough to protest Exxon/Shell/BP/Gulf] join this 'thread --> http://forums.ctrecord.com/showthread.php?t=555

Well I refuse to give money to Hugo Chavez, so I don't buy gas a citgo. I think the prises are discusting. Our state feels that we as hard working people are making to much money so the take as much as they can, any way they can.

I buy from Citgo if it's cheapest; our gas prices just went up again because the legislature raised another gas tax. It was on the news this morning. Yesterday it was limitation of bridge inspections by the state. So much for the Democrats being the party of the people. I think they forget the last election but hell, they can afford to gamble, there's **** we can do about it when we only realistically have two parties to chose from. I should add I'm a proud unaffliated voter who wouldn't want, and never has wanted, to put my name on the rolls of either party. Gone are the days in American history when a progressive party could rise up and effect the clean sweep needed to deal with corruption and lobbyists. If Barak Obama doesn't win the Democratic presidential primary and the Dems give us Hillary Look The Other Way While Your Husband Cheats On You Clinton, I swear to God I'll vote for Rudy Guiliani if we don't get Nadar on the ballot here.

Buying cheap gas from Hugo is not the issue, we'll deal with that Maxist/Lenon reg. if needed [remember the Faullcan Isles war 20 yrs or so ago].I always liked Ralph Nader till he spoiled the election BUT I am bent towards Unity08. org --> http://www.unity08.org/:cool:

I like neither the Republican front runner nor the Democratic. I'm voting Libertarian or I am not voting...

Not voting is what the ins are counting on. Vote anti incumbent and the new crew may get the message.

I disagree. Voting against a candidate is worse than not voting. A voter should vote for the candidate they like most and not for the lesser of two evils.

We have either Dem. Hilllary Clinton or Repub. Rudy Guiliani. They are the front runners by a huge amount.

I dislike both of them on every single point of their platform I can't see myself participating in the two party system any further.

I am waiting for the Libertarian ballot in CT. If that happens I would vote. I like all the Libertarian candidates that have declared themselves.

More than likely we will either have another Clinton or Guiliani in office in 2009. Libertarians have historically done very poor in national elections, unfortunately. I can't see how either of these candidates will make anything any different.

I think it stinks that these fuel adjustments not only cost 2 cents/ gal more now but that I lost horse power such that I have to cruise above 70 MPH on the parkway to keep from down-shifting out of over-drive !

Actually the topic started out about gas, then the topic went to elections with comments about Guliani, Clinton, and Chavez.

I was keeping up the the conversation which turned toward elections which go hand in hand with gas taxes and gas prices...
