With U.S. out of the World Cup, curious to see how many folks watched the World Cup this year. Apparently, viewing in the country was up 68% from the last World Cup 4 years ago. I wonder how many folks become "New" fans!
I absolutely love american football. Have been a fan for years. I not only watch the team I follow play but will watch other games as well. Baseball next but not on the same par as football. Love boxing but haven't watched regularly in awhile.
Try as I might, I just cannot get into soccer. Gave it ago the last World Cup games. I really had myself psyched for it but it was still a no go LOL.

One of the problems with soccer a.k.a. football, is that the rules are so vague!
I watched some of it with the idea that it might be more interesting that watching grass grow during a drought!
I was dissapointed that it did not exceed my expectations.
Big Yawn!
If it were not for Beckham, there are not too many American born citizens that would really give a rats behind about the sport.
It's even slower than baseball with a no hitter going.
The only sport that could be slower would be the Canadian sport of curling!
But for some reason or other, I kinda like it, eh!
