What do you think about the controversy over Patsy Papandrea and the racially charged e-mail? (Check out our news stories: Dems ask Papandrea to step down (http://www.zwire.com/site/tab1.cfm?newsid=18346344&BRD=2755&PAG=461&dept_id=592709&rfi=6" Target="_blank), Papandrea fires back: Dinardo joins outcry (http://www.myrecordjournal.com/site/tab1.cfm?newsid=18351322&BRD=2755&PAG=461&dept_id=592709&rfi=6" Target="_blank).)

As a W.A.S.P who put 2 boys through college [ 1@ RPI & 1 NYSVA] without minority scholarships, I admit that I did smile at Whities' Rant. Get a Grip America - was there ONE N or 4 Letter word spouted?

The Record Journal should print the text of the infamous forward. That would help in better understanding the controversy. From the selections included in the paper though, Papandrea made an enormous mistake from which he can't politically recover. He'll only drag down the rest of his party until he resigns.

Drag down the rest of the party... ?
What damage did bringing up this issue do to the future of Donovan...
Gaffey... Torres-Ferguson...
As a lifelong Democrat who never misses an election... I will remember
these names when I step into a voting booth in the future.... and my
pattern of voting a " straight party" line will be amended.
I don't care WHO runs against these ... candidates... I WILL remember...
and I WILL be splitting my ticket. Friendship and loyalty mean a damn
sight more to me than the " political correctness" of taking sides with
the so called offended in order to... look good.

Hello...
Looking for " N " words or the " F " word in that " racially charged "
E-Mail ?
Only certain people are allowed to use the " N " word as we all
know and as for the " F " word....
As for the " F " word, It has been used by our current Vice President,
a man only a heartbeat away from the presidency... ( " F--- yourself )
were his exact words....
and John McCaine... ( " F--- You... I know more about... " ) who
is the current Republican front runner.
Yes... those two are not "raced based" but still pretty disgusting
IMHO
And...in all fairness...let's not forget my favorite blonde " B---h "
Ann Coulter. She gets away with calling John Edwards a " F-g "
( another " F " word ? )
My whole point here is that people need to get a grip. I don't recall
an apology from any of the 3 above....or a resignation. In the case
of our Vice President it was JUSTIFIED as being part of a " frank
exchange of words... so they said.
So... perhaps Patsy should step down... right after Cheney resigns,
McCaine withdraws his nomination and Ann Coulter leaves Fox News.

Nicely said.
