What do you think of the new tax rate? How will it affect you?

I'm pretty sure our taxes will increase by almost double. At that point maybe I should just drop my house keys on the counter of the tax office. Thier is no way we can afford that.

There's no way you're taxes will double. Stop the hyperbole. They may go up, I'll grant you, but unless your assessment went up 140% or greater and you don't own any cars, they can't double. C'mon...

Yes, I do own vehicles. Five all together. Luckily they are older. In any event...I have all I can do to keep up with the property taxes now. My wife and I can not afford to pay anymore.
Thankfully we don't have a county government also.
