There's got to be cheaper gas around somewhere. Getting off I-691 in Meriden this afternoon, the Cumberland Farms was $2.109 and the Shell across the street was $2.129. Are these the best prices around?

If you're finding gas for $2.129, let me know where! I'm guessing you mean $3.129. I paid $3.059 in Rocky Hill this afternoon. I also found a receipt in my truck from three months ago when I paid $2.299. What is going on?

Yeah, I meant 3.129 -- It must have been wishful thinking.

Today I came down West Main Street and found a range of prices posted -- from 3.089 at the Getty off I-91 up to 3.199 at the Mobil next to Dunkin Donuts and the armory.

Is it cheaper out along I-84 or closer to New Haven?

I would suggest tracking the prices via http://www.gasbuddy.com/Gas_Prices/Connecticut/index.aspx or if you want to localize more via http://www.newhavengasprices.com/ and / or http://www.hartfordgasprices.com/

Definitely beats wasting gas driving around LOOKING for the lower prices
