Peggy (Molly Shannon) and Pencil (her Beagle dog) have a co-dependent relationship. They do everything together, eat, sleep and watch TV and movies. Her life is simple and satisfying to her with the love of her dog.
When her dog gets into something in her neighbors yard and ends up dying at the vets office, Molly is totally broken hearted. She does some really bizzar things to fill the void and almost becomes obsessive. You really want her to find some happiness to relieve her loneliness.
In the end she feels she finds her mission in life and has a sense of satisfaction.
It was a little slow moving, with a lot of facial expressions. I don't think I would pay to see it, but it's rentable.
