Just to let you know there is a Tea Party in front of the Cheshire Town Hall every Monday night 5-6PM. It's been growing every week starting with a handful 7 weeks ago to 50+ this last Monday.

The support of the people driving by is great I only heard 1 negative comment the rest was horns, thumbs up, and you're doing great shouts.

Come one down and experience right of freedom of speech and the right of peaceable assembly being exercised. Whether you agree or not with the signs isn't important, what is, is that the rights are being exercised. If they are not exercised they will atrophy and die.

I've been asked what is a Real American. A simple answer, a Real American is one that exercises their rights, that makes their feelings known to the elected officials, who does not just sit back and say the government is good and right, does not expect or demand the government to provide food, medical, jobs, but rather goes out and provides the best they can for themselves and their families. In short a Real American is one who stands for accountability in government, personal responsibility over governmental intrusion in private lives and has the courage to stand up and be counted to defend personal rights, liberties and the Constitution of the United States of America.

It's almost like it's 1776 all over again.

It must be a nice thing to get a break from the padded cells, abusive orderlies and shrieking and screaming patients. I do think that Town Halls all across the country should not be so welcoming to the psychologically challanged though. I think a nice park with a fountain and maybe a few monkeys would be more suitable.

I only live a mile away from there, but since some of you folks haven't seen someone as good looking as I am(being locked up and all), I think I will stay home. Wouldn't want to start a riot and derail whatever rantings there are going on down there.

can we bring our guns and other ordnance?

Will you supply the teabags?

And 1776? not even close.....more like 2001 a space odyssey

What time is the cross burning?

OMG. I saw those people in the paper today. They looked like many of them escaped from the psych ward. The woman holding up the sign saying "No Health Reform", obviously has never known anyone who has been wronged by our inhumane system. I sure she would change her tune if, for some reason, she was not able to get the care she needs.

Not so many years ago, Glen Beck was a DJ in CT on one of the local radio rock stations. I know that he was out on a limb at the end. He is so extreme and full of himself. Is it just as act to make money?

Pandering to the fears of the uneducated low information voter pays well. Beck figured this out. He has added to the mix his own dysfunctional background and has successfully out hannitied Hannity. Fear is a big sell to the right wing. Its like going to a horror movie as a child.

I wonder if one of the purposes of his shtick is to make people like Hannity and O'reilly appear reasonable by comparison.

But mostly its the money and the ego. He's been able to move from Cheshire to New Canaan.

Its an unneccessary overhaul, not a reform. Business as usual, with a big dose of tax increase.

The liberal Dems in Japan were overwhelmingly voted out because of the big tax and spend.
I guess they dont have millions of deadbeats that our liberal Democrats pander for votes, thats probably a big difference.

No snakebiter, the "Liberal Democrats" in Japan are equivalent to the pro business conservative party over here, despite the name. The Japan election was a true victory for liberalism and a repudiation of the big business party, conservatives, known here as Republicans...

From Wikipedia:
The Liberal Democratic Party (自由民主党, Jiyū-Minshutō?), frequently abbreviated to LDP or Jimintō (自民党?), is a centre right, conservative political party and the largest party in Japan.

So you think you will pay more in taxes with HC reform than you will pay in premiums if we dont reform?

Do some research....
