this past saturday the wallingford junior womans club held an event at the oakdale that involved trucks and kids…”Touch a Truck”. the event was better than last years with more kids attending.….the community business people stepped up to make the event the success that it was…..i am sure that all the attendees had a good time. even in these trying time the business people are there for the community…..congrats to all who showed up and made the junior womans event great….
the town had a poor showing, one fire truck, but, with the boe buying new furniture, the public works sending 5 trucks to pick up broken curb, there's no cash left for a charity events..…i understand.....
