I'm looking forward to tonight's event in Hubbard Park. I am thrilled that Meriden has this event and others including the Daffodil Festival. I think the benefits far surp*** the expense. Besides, so many people volunteer for these events that it helps to bring people together and contributes to a positve sense of community. Have fun!

I stopped in at the Wild Bird at Tower Square on North Colony in Wallingford and found a lot of great gift ideas. Besides beautiful bird houses and bird feeders there were outdoor thermomenters, beautiful stained gl*** items, outdoor garden decorations, even canes with bird wooden handles. Perfect for the hard to buy for person on my list. Happy holiday shopping!
