I remember, not so long ago, when these words were not first and foremost in every newspaper, news story or conversation:
bailout
recession
unemployment
bankruptcy
corrupt
Ponzi schemes
tent cities
wage freeze or reduction
and on and on and on...

It is sad, but good news doesn't sell.
I will say that the R-J does put more good news on the front page more than most papers. And that is a good thing!
