Would the R-J consider a story about the ongoing lawsuit against the City of Meriden by owners of land on the Metacomet Ridge? The lawsuit started in Oct/Nov 1998 right after the City Council passed the RIDGELINE ZONING AMENDMENT. There hasn't been a story since, to my knowledge. It might be interesting to the public who the key players and plaintiffs are, and what has been going on these last ten years. Is there a possibility that Meriden's Ridgeline Protection zoning might be overturned? What would happen if the plaintiffs are successful and the ramifications to Meriden? How much has this case cost the taxpayers of Meriden? How about it, R-J?
