there is a nice three band bill at Cafe 9 tonight- I'll stop in for the first act and maybe part of the second. Quick bite at JP Dempseys on state st first.

What are the bands. Can't stand most of the hippie dippie/folksy stuff they play there. If it is cool I may check it out.

The Naomi Star- power pop w/ harmonies and guitars
Atrina- female fronted rock with attitude

I'll stay for about half- Gary Vollono from Independisc is running the show.

It wasn't all that great! No eula- but Jenniffer Hill did a good job-a bit long though. Then Naomi Star disapointed by going in a country direction on their first few tunes. Harmonies were off. Never stayed to see Atrina- but the singer is nice- talked to her a bit.
So, Modica- maybe you were there-maybe you made the right decision and stayed home! The place was fairly crowded which is a great sign for the club. It's hard getting people to go out. Tonight-Sully's on Park in Htfd. I'm going for the support act- Modica, the second act is an 80's cover band- right up your alley!!!

Yeah, did not make it. I guess that is a good thing, seeing the bands weren't all that special. I avoid Hartford. Wait you say 80's cover band? @#$% NO!

I won't stay for that!!! but it's the first appearance in the club for the opening act- and I will support them. heard the pizza wasn't bad there too. Usually I avoid hartford too- except for Black Eyed Sally's- great bbq.
