There was a time when a potentialy great reviewer, packed it in. I hope my criticism wasn't too blame.
I picked out two movies that you liked, we could make up and watch a double feature together. I picked "Pineapple Express" and "Sex Drive" for our
bonding session.

Pineapple Express is pretty funny- Sex Drive has a great main song by MGMT who have appeared in Ct often and now tour the world. Love how you are sorry snake- a true compassion that I often lack. you are OK.

I certainly did not like 80% of what she liked, but also did not wish her any bad tidings. Sometimes it is difficult to express yourself in these forums without others being critical and sometimes mean. I know that she occasionally told me that I was full of crap for liking or disliking something, but for me 90% of the time this is fun and not to be taken so seriously. Hope Cindy decides to come back.:)

she'll be back. and what's the point of a forum if you cannot disagree vehemently and even boarder on insult? It's a cold way to communicate- sometimes anything we write can be taken in many ways. that's the fun of it.

Im showing the love more than I do my girlfriends, I would never cuddle up to
a double feature of bad movies for them.
I may become more like AR. I need to recharge my teeth with venom.
I am beginning to give up on dear CindyBrady.
But what was the 666 in the name. Maybe she's putting a Wican curse on me.

Maybe Cindy 666 will turn the snake into a worm. Atleast there will be no need for a girlfriend anymore.

I guess that I am the only one left who reviews movies. Has the economy put that much of a dent into people's taking in a movie. Maybe Cindy has logged on to another forum.

I read all the hartford courant reveiws, but can not recall most of the Globe
nominess. Mojo, have you seen any of these movies.
I would rather talk movies than politics. Politics aggravate me.

Ok, For Best Picture Drama, None have shown in Ct. yet except Slumdog Millionaire started today. Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, The Reader and Revolutionary Road are all coming soon. For Best Picture Comedy or Musical, I have seen all but Mamma Mia...I HATE ABBA. Burn After Reading, Happy Go Lucky, In Bruges, and Vicky Christina Barcelona are all good, but In Bruges was the best of all. Great screenplay, great acting and great setting. Happy Go Lucky would be my second choice. For television I am glad that Dexter was nominated. I love the show.

I have only seen In Brugge, it was very good and actually visiting Brugge a couple years ago and recognizing the scenes made it better.
I am always a few months later, never go to the theatre, wait for netflix.
Watched half of Diving Bell last night. Will finish today. I feel like a am texting.

Diving Bell and the Butterfly is pretty good. I go to the movies about once or twice a week, but with all these movies coming out it may become 2 or 3 times a week. I watch about two or three movies a week at home also. I still prefer seeing movies on the big screen. Going to see Milk and Slumdog Millionaire this week. I am tempted not to see Slumdog because of all the hype it is getting and I also absolutely hated the trailer. Now, think that may affect my reaction to it.

I guess Cindy did fill the generic movie hole. She sat through many lame movies.
Finished Diving Bell and it depressed me for awhile, I did not find it inspirational in any way.
I found myself hearing aphabets and blinking to the letter.

I think that the tone of Diving Bell was such that, even though what he did was pretty extraordinary, you couldn't help but being depressed. The movie wasn't conventionally sappy, but realistic, which made most people feel helpless and depressed.

Cindy's back . It took some private messages, a hook up, but its done.
Although she's a bit older, I took one for the movie loving team.
A candlelight dinner while watching "The Bad News Bears go to Japan" did the trick. She nixed my earlier suggestions.
Don't tell her I wrote and told.

WAIT A DARN MINUTE THERE! I thought it was our dinner at Le Shack de Burger and then later renting the new version of Walking Tall starring that Rock guy. Cindy found the movie very original and provocative. I did not have the heart to tell her that it was a remake. Well for whatever the reason, Welcome back Cindy.

I'll not see yes man- not only because Carey has lost his lustre years ago- but a friend had a song in the running for the closing credits and they picked another. So... boycot yes man. Modica- see ya at the wallingford multiplex this week during the day. With no work for a couple of weeks I'll be the loner at matinees.

I don't think you'll be a loner with all the snot-nosed kids off from school.
