Another reason that makes me proud I didn't vote for him. They should send lieberman somewhere we'll never hear from him and if there is justice left in the country or world it will happen.

so his tolerance is a bad trait? I admit, I'd put Joe on a train.... take from that what you will. But Obama is a better man for his forgiveness- me? I hold a grudge. I say tar and feather the creep, ride him out of town in a rail car and send him off to somewhere where traitors are welcome. Maybe make him ambassador to Israel since he loves that country so much.

Every day Saddam remains in power with chemical weapons, biological weapons, and the development of nuclear weapons is a day of danger for the United States.
Joe Lieberman
Some in my party threaten to send a message that they don't know a just war when they see it, and more broadly that they're not prepared to use our military strength to protect our security and the cause of freedom.
Joe Lieberman
From the beginning, I was a strong supporter of the war in Iraq against Saddam Hussein. He was a dictator, warmonger, terrorist, outlaw, murderer, torturer, thief, and thug.
Joe Lieberman
Nobody wants to end the war in Iraq more than I do.
Joe Lieberman
And dont forget the incident at Teds (http://www.mydd.com/story/2006/8/3/205416/1615) when the Lieberyouth attacked Lamont. What a classy guy!

you give Joe to much time and energy.....let him keep his position (which we did not hear him do much with) and in a couple of years you can vote him out...(if he runs again)

Tolerance in a normal human being is a very good trait. It is however not a word I associate in any way with politicians. They do nothing unless it achieves a purpose and feeds their ego. It goes along with the old truism "you know a politician is lying when their mouth is moving". I'm just wondering what the payoff by lieberman was to receive the show of "tolerance".

How many times do we have to vote him out? I agree with the leaders, take away the Homeland Security committee and let him caucus with the Dems. If he chooses to caucus with the Republicans, so be it. The Dems don't like his warmongering and the republicans don't like his social liberalism. He is between a rock and a hard place.
Life is full of choices. Choices have consequences.
