I don’t know about you... But I am really tired of all the Political “Whining” on this Forum.
Anyone out there want to discuss something OTHER than Politics?
Like maybe... Wine?

Actually NO. Politics are fun right now we are living in what will go down in history as the end of freedom and the greatest country in the world. Already all the 3rd world countries are congratulating us for coming down to their level. You must be an osama supporter who else would put a post up on the 'politics and more politics' site and want to talk about something else. I can understand all your posts about wine and booze if I voted for osama I'd be drunk now too and I'd claim and hope I was drunk when I voted.
Have a nice day:)

Jimbo- how can you even claim that we were well off and free under little george? He condones torture, he tapped the phones of innocent americans, he ran the country into the toilet. That is not a picture of the greatest country in the world. You may have been a soldier- he wasn't. He lied outright about the war- then ran it ineptly. He could barley get through a speach without making up words and looking even dumber than his college grades would make us believe.
You can carp all you want- even as the electoral vote continues to rise. And finally- a possibele censure for Lieberman- strip him of his chairmanship and put him in the back of the room to fill out his papers to join the losing party.

There's plenty of whine here!
Whats your favorite? Ripple (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low-end_fortified_wine) or Night train (http://www.bumwine.com/nighttrain.html)?
What's the word?
Thunderbird
Hows it sold?
Good and cold
What's the price?
Fifty Twice"

This is the political section of the forum. So what's your take on Obama's pick for Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel?

Here's what I'm tired of, I'm tired of people digging through old threads and bumping them back to the first page. If a topic falls off the front page it's probably for a good reason.

the function is there for a reason. If you start a thread with silly off topic photos- I will change that thread each and everytime.

Isn't he from the Clinton years, and hasn't he been in the Washington a while?
I'm not sure how this fits into the "Change We Need" mantra.
I know Obama needs someone who knows the workings of Washington, but he's kind of a little thug. Should be an interesting four years...

Palin calls attacks 'cruel' and 'cowardly'
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin called former aides of Sen. John McCain "jerks" for circulating unflattering stories about her since the Republican ticket lost its bid for the White House Tuesday.
"Those were taken out of context and that's cruel," Palin said. "It's mean-spirited. It's immature. It's unprofessional and those guys are jerks if they came away with it, taking things out of context, and then tried to spread something on national news."
The poor woman. It sucks when people take things out of context and are mean spirited, doesn't it?

gee whiz golly. You betcha they'd know when something was mean spirited.
Lets see how she handles the press when that kid getting roped into an early marraige to her daughter leaves her standing at the altar.

I also heard that he is a Chicago good old boy and if that's true I'm am disappointed. Sometimes they know the workings of Washington too much. I hope not. However, it has to be better than what we have had. I am hopeful even with all of the dire predictions. Hopefully, people will learn to live within their means and to help those in need. Nice to meet you, Anna.

Marc, Although this is the forum strand for politics, I will ask you about wine in a box. I know for true wine enthusiasts, it's completely wrong. We tried Black Box reserve and it was pretty good. I am also curious about some of the new wines without corks. Can wine be good without a cork?
Are you the resident wine expert?
Thanks for your opinion. No "whining" here.
