To pay my “fair” share. 30%, 40%, 50% …I don’t know but I’m sure it will be fair.
To start paying a Carbon Tax for every joule of energy I use so we can save this planet for our children.
To stop saving for my children’s college since the government will ensure they’ll get to go anyway.
To start giving that money I was saving for my children to those people that didn’t work two jobs to put themselves through college and sacrifice time with their families, so they can continue to enjoy sitting around watching daytime television.
To have free access to one simple, cost-effective, rationed health care system.
To vote for or against a union at my workplace and not have to keep it a secret.
For all that annoying conservative talk on the radio to be silenced.
For the small company I work for to be forced to get rid of a couple more employees since I don’t have enough to do already. I just hope I am not one of them.
To explain sex to my first grader, give him a condom, tell him sex is beautiful between a man and a woman, two men, or two women. Whatever makes you feel good….now run along.
To not have to be worried that my 12 year old daughter might come to me and tell me she is pregnant and wants to kill … oops I mean terminate her pregnancy since she will have a right not to tell me.
To see all those kids bagging groceries at my local store get a much higher “living wage” so they don’t have to struggle so hard saving for that new set of subwoofers or chrome wheels. Of course now there won’t be so many of them.
To bring our soldiers home to be with their families and only have to step out their front doors to fight the terrorists. That will be so much more convenient.
To erase that silly border between the U.S. and Mexico and then have the opportunity to learn Spanish in order to keep my job.
To make it safer for criminals to practice their craft without the fear of being shot by an ordinary citizen.
To provide another hand-out….oops I mean tax cut to the 40% of Americans that don’t even pay taxes.
To just stop trying so hard to make a success of myself and a better life for my family since now I know my failure will be rewarded by my government.
I know there is more but I have to get back to work since now I’m responsible for so many more people besides my own family.
Change is here….aren’t you excited….I know I am!
