I wanted to see this movie on the big screen, but decided to get the cd which was just released. I'm glad I got the cd and watched this very moving movie in my own home. As I watched it, tears just poured down my face. It pulled together four different cultures, in a seemingly disparate way. Yet, the most powerful message (to me) was that the ability to love, and the need for love transcends all cultural differences. I thought this movie was a heart stopping, touching movie about the intricacies of life and the inner strength that pulls us through when all but a tenuous hold on love is all we have.
:o By way, after watching this my husband says I'm no longer in charge of picking movies....
