I thought this debate was the best moderated debate yet.
That being said, I feel Obama won this debate, and that this debate was the worst debate for McCain. I felt McCain looked desperate. He spent more time talking about Obama than the issues. McCain knows he's done and the only way to gain in the polls is to tarnish Obama. McCain needed Obama to make a mistake and hang himself in order to gain in the polls, which Obama did not.
Obama sounded like he understood the issues more than McCain and Obama talked more about the issues than McCain.
McCain tried to attack Obama but looked weak doing it.
Unless the McCain campaign can find a swift boat technique to work on Obama, their campaign is done.

I think we need a real American in the White House and that is McCain. I think he is asking tough questions and the hype is falling off the novelty candidate and Obama's supporters are having to lie to themselves about their candidate. By the way if Obama is so good and great for us where are Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan and the rest of those anti Americans he pals with? How come they're not out on the campaign trail with him? Maybe because then the truth would come out? Maybe he'd lose votes? I hope McCain wins because I don't want this to become a socialist or welfare country.

isn't it a kind of socialism when the government buys mortgages, lowers them and controlls the interest? I think so. McCaged is toast. His attatcks fell largely on deaf ears. Pundits have Obama all over this one.

Its always good to show your racism when putting forth your support for a candidate...It really helps his cause.
Obama is clearly the better speaker..McCains "presence" exudes anger and disgust, not endearing qualities...
Obama clearly won all three debates...all of which is meaningless as it was the economy which has brought down the Republican Reich, not necessarily the performance of the candidates.
Jim doesnt want a "socialist" state, but he is happy with a "fascist" corporatocracy.
The fascist state is the corporate state.
~ Benito Mussolini
"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." - Benito Mussolini.
The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a bit longer.

At this point in time I don't think it matters who is in the white house. Costs of everything are out of control (energy, health, food, automobiles, etc) You can buy a small house in some areas for the cost of a cady these days). Which one can do a better job, most likely neither. One can only hope is that a change to the D's will be better then the last 7 1/2 years. The current goverment has thrown a trillion dollars at the financial bailout..what good did that do? Lets take back that trillion and start to provide health coverage for all. Lets socialize health insurance instead of socializing the banking industry...McCain is worth 100 million what does he know about the middleclass. Obama is worth 4-6 million....he will forget about the middleclass once elected. The only one that made out in the debate was the plumber from ohio....

For those of you that dislike Obama, look at the bright side. If he wins he'll be a one term president. Nobody can turn this country around in one term. When he runs for re-election, this mess will be thrown in his face. The republicans will make sure they throw all the blame for everything under the sun at Obama. It won't matter who's at fault. If it's wrong, if it's broken, it'll be Obama's fault.

A little investigation shows Joe:
1. Is not a licensed plumber
2. Is a registered Republican
3. Owes back taxes, so what does he care about taxes if he isnt gonna pay them anyway?
Nice plant, McCain, like everything else, a big lie...
And the plumbers union has endorsed Obama.
But, hey, he has given more press conferences than Sarah Palin!

They both need to be...planted
In any case.... I recall that George Bush LOST every debate that
he was in... and who won the Presidency... TWICE ....lol
PS...if supporters of McCain makes us all racists....
God help us if Obama does not win !!!!
That will set race relations in America the back to where they
werebefore Lincoln.

Reminder: Obama's tax credit plan will pay tax credits to people even if they have zero tax liability.
