Too far!
Editor:
With regard to the article, “Bysiewicz rules on political attire” in Friday’s paper (R-J, 10/10):
The notion that an ordinary person’s tee-shirt or donkey pin is going to somehow influence the way I vote is a little silly. Does she think we are mindless zombies waiting for some stimulus to affect our vote?
I can see the point in banning active campaigning near the polls or even a large candidate pin (frankly, some of the people that are at the 75-ft.-line can be a little pushy); but to have someone ask me to remove or cover up a tee shirt is going a little too far. What’s next — uniforms on Election Day?
