Anybody watch the Palin-Biden debate? Any thoughts?
I thought the noise machine's brouhaha over Gwen Ifill was wholly unnecessary. She was a very professional moderator.

I think Palen did better than expected and that she did good enough for her role in the election, but Biden was better. Biden went easy on her and he still looked better. I thought Palen looked scripted and she avoided questions she couldn't or wouldn't answer. The way she constantly looked at the camera looked like she was reading from a teleprompter. The winking at the camera and can I call you Joe comment looked phony. The first 5-10 minutes of the debate she looked like she was going to pass out. Biden looked calm most of the time, except when he had to hold back from attacking her. Did you notice when he smiled? Those were the moments when he wanted to fight back but was told not to because he would look like a bully. It's amazing how everyone is expected to go easy on Palen but with Hillary it was a free for all.
The democrats realize the novelty with Palen is wearing off. They didn't want to attack her and get her sympathy from it.
Ask yourself this question. If you had to choose a president right now and it was either Biden or Palen, who would it be?
Obama and McCain have a strong chance of dying in office. Which VP could take over and do the job well, not just look well doing it?
