According to this chart I'd better off with the McCain tax plan. Also, from my understanding Obama plans to double capital gains income which includes sale of a house or property, or of stock, or even from interest on savings in your bank account.

79% of the people who file capital gains are middle class families. Ouch.

Obama and McCain Tax Proposals

According to a new analysis by the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain are both proposing tax plans that would result in cuts for most American families. Obama's plan gives the biggest cuts to those who make the least, while McCain would give the largest cuts to the very wealthy. For the approximately 147,000 families that make up the top 0.1 percent of the income scale, the difference between the two plans is stark. While McCain offers a $269,364 tax cut, Obama would raise their taxes, on average, by $701,885 - a difference of nearly $1 million.

The rich would pay more under Barack Obama's tax plan, and the poor and middle-class would pay less, a nonpartisan analysis finds. Under John McCain's plan, the rich would pay much less than they do now, the poor and middle-class would pay a bit less, and the federal deficit would grow, the study found.

Thank you for putting in to works what the graphic I provided already showed. How do you feel about Obama doubling the capital gains tax on the middle class?

When the former head of the Federal Reserve warns that McCain's economic policy cannot be accomplished without MAJOR changes in the government and major cuts, you can be sure there's a problem!
Greenspan also said that the bank failings and housing market devastation is the worst in probably 100 years!
Do you want more of this Bush economic policy???With McCain???

In case you don't recognize it, this is the same stuff that preceded the Great Depression in 1929!

We need Barack and his super intelligence to get us out of this horrible economic disaster before it gets WORSE---NOT more of the same old policy---except THIS time, with a guy whose temper is so bad he can't control it, even when he knows he's being filmed!

This is no time to try out a "MAVERICK" who won't listen to anyone! We need a careful, planned out policy to undo the effects of the government being run to benefit the WEALTHY for the past 8 years!

The middle class and working poor should be banding together to get into place a President who can help us all establish a standard of living that does not include unemployment lines, no health care, no pensions, no homes, and lots of taxes laid on OUR backs instead of those who could easily pay more and not even feel it!

Working people have NOTHING in common with the wealthy and need to recognize that a wedge is being driven into the working class in order to defeat our voting strength.

PLEASE do not fall for it! If you think you have anything in common with the 1% of the population that controls 99% of the money in our country, you have not been paying attention to the fact that your entire way of life is collapsing under these people who want us all to be their financial SLAVES!

Where exactly does all this confidence in Obama come from?

From our lack of confidence in same old McCain. From McCain's lack of understanding of the issues, from his impulsiveness, stubbornness and his temper, from his age.

From his lack of judgment. He picked Sarah Palin without vetting her, as a gimmick. He picked the most unqualified running mate in modern history.

McCain was at the bottom of his class at Annapolis, and he probably wouldnt have got in, except for his father and grandfather being admirals. Obama went to Harvard, and has promised to surround himself with bright people, not cronies.

These are difficult times and we need new solutions.

My god is there any chance that you can answer a question about Obama without pointing at McCain? Give me some examples of where Obama has proved himself. What did he accomplish as a community organizer, state senator and US senator. Do you even know if anything he was involved with actually had positive results?

And can you try and answer without asking a question? I have a feeling you know less about Obama than you do about McCain.

Dont let it be said that I was religious, but wasn't Jesus a long haired, bearded, sandal wearing dude who didnt hold a job and wanted to give to the poor?

Sounds like a socialist to me!
