Looks like Biden is the next person Obama tosses under the bus. Sounds like he's setting himself up to exit stage left. Look for a sudden health problem to force Biden to step down shortly. How right was Giuliani when he said this during his convention speech: "Well, I’ll tell you, if I were Joe Biden, I’d want to get that V.P. thing in writing." Stay tuned and find out.
NASHUA, New Hampshire (CNN) — Joe Biden told supporters at a town hall Wednesday afternoon that Barack Obama might have been better off choosing Hillary Clinton as his running mate.
“Make no mistake about this, Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let’s get that straight,” Biden said testily when a voter told Biden he was glad the Delaware senator had been chosen and not Clinton.

All this fluff about Caribou Barbie will die down. It is a media creation. When will she let the press interview her? No other candidate for President or Vice President has ever been kept in seclusion from the press before.
Biden is right. Hilary Clinton is qualified to step into the oval office on day one. How about Palin?
Cross dresser and wife cheater Giuliani has little credibility. I am grateful the Republicans put up John McCain rather than 9/11 "Ghouliani" and his fascist views of government. I'm still mystified why the more qualified Romney didnt make it. Ghouliani (and his mafia associate, the indicted Bernie Kerick, who he pushed for Homeland Security Chief) have the ghosts of the 3000 September 11 victims hanging over them. Ask NYFD about Guiliani.
Today is a good day to remind ourselves of Giuliani. Never forget.

I'm just responding to your statements you made. You made them didn't you? Or did you channel someone else while in front of the keyboard again?

Let me spell it out for you.
1. Giuliani made NY Command Post in the World Trade Center, which had already been attacked, and was widely recognized as the biggest terrorist target in NY.
(as deep throat said, follow the money)
2. Giuliani and his administration equipped NYFD with substandard radios. One reason more NYFD died than NYPD was that many firefighters didnt get the evacuate order, because their digital radios werent working in the high rise.
(follow the Motorola money)
If you're looking for love between Miss Rudy and NYFD/NYPD, you wont find it.
Digital radios are one the the great corporate-government scams. They cost three times as much as conventional radios and work poorly, but they make a lot of money for Motorola, at taxpayer expense.

Faced with vocoder intelligibility issues, departments choose to stick with analog a little longer
Amid concerns surrounding digital-radio performance, several public-safety agencies are considering alternatives, including analog radios.
Focus on digital-radio performance in fireground scenarios heightened last month after the release of an International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) report on the issue. Tests conducted by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) indicated that analog systems provided greater audio intelligibility than digital systems in four of nine environments, including when self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) masks and personal alert safety systems (PASS) were in use.
These results and anecdotal experiences have caused firefighters in Phoenix, Orlando and Marion County, Ind., to question the wisdom of moving from analog radio to multimillion-dollar digital systems.
And how is the Bush administration coming with the 9/11 commission recommendations?

What I find amazing is I can make a thread that has nothing to do with republicans and you can find a way to scream:

Potentially offering some relief for increasingly nervous Democrats, Sen. Barack Obama's campaign said Sunday that he raised $66 million in August, his top month ever and easily a new monthly record for presidential fundraising.
Adding more than 500,000 new donors during the month, his campaign said it has now received contributions from more than 2.5 million people since the start of Obama's 19-month-old presidential bid.
