Calling a woman a pig. How disrespectful can you get. I notice when he was trying to win the nomination from Hillary he was polite and respectful. Now with the nomination sewed up I guess his true personality is showing. The democrats are in a hard spot how can they support a candidate who is so disrespectful to women when half of them were supporting a woman for president. I bet a lot of them wished this came out before the convention, I'll also bet alot of them are wondering if they can recall him and put Hillary in her rightful place. If I was a woman I couldn't vote for a man who was that disrespectful. As a man I wouldn't vote for any man who would be that disrespectful of a woman, it could be my mother, my wife, my sisters or just female friends. If he is this disrespectful while he's running for office and in public how is his behavior in private and how would it be with the power of the Presidency behind him? Scary!!!! Bill may have had sex outside of marriage and as President however I don't ever remember him disrespecting women. If he has any morality or decency he would step down right now from the campaign as well as his seat in the Senate.

Dont let yourself be so easily manipulated, by statements taken completely out of context, with the intention of deceiving you. The "pig" is McCains economic platform. The "lipstick" is Palin. The phrase "lipstick on a pig" has been around for years. Its the Republicans who are calling Palin the Pig.

The Republicans have a poor record on women's rights and are so much more misogynistic McCain is the one who publicly calls women "itches with a B." What a man!

Mccain had sex outside of marriage and traded in his damaged (disabled from a car accident) first wife for the beer heiress, and rode the beer heiress coattails to what he is today. What a man!

So under your logic, you will vote for Obama, because his is still married to his first wife and hasnt cheated on her. Good choice!

Again, use your brain. Have you ever seen the Wizard of Oz?

Actually according to today's Washington Post, it was MCain's pastor, the "right" Reverend Hagee who originally made the pig comparison. Plain is only a plagiarist.

Did Palin Borrow 'Lipstick' Schtick?

By Mary Ann Akers
Sarah Palin's now famous "lipstick" joke from her acceptance speech Wednesday night is generating lots of buzz in Democratic circles and the liberal blogosphere. Not because of how funny it was, but because of its similarity to another (in)famous one-liner delivered by controversial evangelical pastor John Hagee.

Palin, who, like Hagee, is an evangelical Christian, had Republicans inside St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center doubled over laughing when she said, "What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick."

Hagee, in his book "What Every Man Wants in a Woman," wrote, "Do you know the difference between a woman with PMS and a snarling Doberman pinscher? The answer is lipstick."

Wow your sexism is shining bright in this thread, according to you a woman should take a back seat to a man and any man that marries a wealthy woman isn't a man at all?

Were you this outrage about John Kerry marrying Theresa Hienz? Of course you weren't. You hypocrite.

Its satire, r2d2, not sexism. Dont get upset...High blood pressure is unhealthy. I believe it was your people that made fun of Kerry marrying a rich woman. So who's the hypocrite?

And dont draw conclusions from my comments and attribute them to me. I will speak for myself.

And speaking of sexism, where do republicans stand on a woman's decision to control her own body? Does the government belong in her womb?

And its Heinz...and yes, she probably is an elitist too.

I thought when you typed the post I quoted you were speaking for yourself, I had no idea you were channeling your inner Republican. It must be nice to make a post then disown it as soon as someone points out your short comings in said post.

BTW I purposely left speeling and grammer errors intact so you'll have something worth contributing to this thread, god knows you've failed doing so so far.

Good luck.

Again, McCain and Palin want to overturn Roe v. Wade, because they dont think a woman is capable of making a decision on her pregnancy without their guidance. I dont know how old you are, sir, but I remember coathangers.

And I strongly support the second amendment (and the other ones too) so yes, there certainly is some "inner republican" inside of me. And I liked Ike, especially when he warned us about the military-industrial complex.

Its good to see his granddaughter is voting for Obama.
