Guess I missed the point on this one. Why would this scare liberals to death? The Bin Laden picture should scare anyone to death.

Oops. Sorry. I thought both pics were from the same person. I guess flatrat has all liberals pegged as being against hunting? Just goes to show you that you really can't take people and label them and put them in a slot as far as beliefs go. Hunting for food does not bother me in the least. I believe hunting is much more humane than the way we kill animals in our slaughter houses and I've never been against hunting animals for food. Animal abuse? Now that I'm against.

I find myself liberal in some area's and conservative in others. My guess is that this is the situation most people are in. I usually am as much at issue with the liberals who are way way way to the left just as I am with the Christian Taliban that are way to the right. I use the term Christian Taliban with tongue in cheek. Most extreme right Christian Fundamentalists don't see themselves being as dangerous as the Muslim Fundamentalists.

I would say I am a liberal. I am also Christian. I am not however an extremist in either ideology. Extremism in anything is usually dangerous.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion Deb. I was just suggesting to my good friend R2D2 that republican VPs seem to hunt animals and elderly men when they should have been hunting OBL, these last 7 years.

I too am not against hunting. I consider my self a second amendment liberal. I am more like Jessie Ventura social liberal and fiscal conservative. If I have to spend my tax dollars I would rather it for helping poor people than the military industrial complex.

Also I agree. I do not oppose religion but religious extremism, be it Islamic or Christian, does offend me. You worship your gods and I will worship mine.

I will be at Dr. appts,State Capital, physical therapy on E.Main st., Rehab center,City hall to investigate a unknown construction Co. [by the CT state dept.] taking calls from moving co.s and grandkids, and 1 or 2 bill collectors, my IRA and 401k managers...etc...
But one thing that I'm really commited to is my goal of donating my 48th plus - Pint of BLOOD to the red cross on tues,9/9/008 at 11 am at [ guess where?] at&t [ formerly SNET aka SBC ] . I truley hope to see all the donors names published in your paper for their unselfish contribution. :cool:

I can tell you're a good Christian and neither you or anyone in your family made a mistake so you can throw the first stone. If all you can do is insult a 17 year old girl I shudder to think what you'd do to your own daughter or grandaughter if they every behaved as human children do and made a mistake. I'll also agree with the post that said they're not suprised you think of kiddie porn under age sex tapes. You sound like a real mentally ill person or maybe your just a Catholic priest and wouldn't mind if it was a young boy.
