Any suggestions for good home style down to earth country breakfasts in Cheshire. Fancy ritzy expensive forget them. Real people and good food hopefully some of it locally produced that's the ticket.

There used to be many good places to eat breakfast in Cheshire, but now that you mention it I can't think of any. I guess McDonalds and the three Dunkin Donuts in town made sure that the good homestyle places became the thing of the past.

Pauls on Route 10 is open for Breakfast and lunch and has some decent food.

Yeah I thought of that one, but I haven't been in awhile and wasn't sure if the food was still any good. It was good when I went there before.

I still like it, I get breakfast there about twice a week.

I think I will stop by and try it again.

Thanks for the suggestion I'll give them a try on a weekend when I'm going for a ride. If your ever in Litchfield try Pattis on 202 just west of 63. A friend suggested it while we were riding. Great food, pleasant atmosphere huge portions I couldn't finish mine.

Hello...

On the norh end of town you could try the Mid Town Diner ?

I've been there for breakfast and find it clean, affordable and
a nice atmosphere. There seems to be "regulars " on Saturday
mornings but me and my friends have had no problems getting
seated on the mornings that we went there.
