QT does have a good team, but, not the best all around in C-1.

With "Father Time" on the bump for PBA, leading the charge, they are surely ticketed for "A" ball next year.

I feel ONLY "A" ball players should be playing in "A" ball. Otherwise someone could get hurt.

So as we are all expecting, PBA is what right now 18-1 and I'm sure they will pick whatever division they want next season. They should be in A if they are running the table in B like they have.

I agree, three seasons ago our team finished 8-12 and for some stupid reason the board saw fit to move us up "TWO" divisions where we went 0-20. There were teams the year we went 8-12, that were higher in team wins that stayed in the same division the following year.

If PBA's roster stays the same or improves next season, then they definitely would be a candidate to move up. However, if they lose players from this year and backfill with lessor talented players, they may stay right where they are.
MASA goes by a couple of criteria -- how a team finished the previous season and more importantly, did the roster improve with better players. Even still, we can't predict how a team will perform during the season. We do mess up on a team or two once in a while, but over the past 27 years, 98% of the time MASA has done a pretty fair job with the division placement of teams.

I have no issue with them staying in the division if in fact they do lose players. I will however have one if they keep their guys and stay in "B". Certain individuals that are Umpires or on the board seem to get away with murder and we all know who those people are. Issues like this have caused a great number of teams to leave the Meriden league over the years.
