What is going on with Brett Favre?!

Althought Im a devout Cowboys (and Romo) fan, I loved watching Favre play. But whats going on with him. He asked to be released from his team...why?...to join another team? I think the article I read said he was looking at Chicago and Minnesota. Why would he want to do that? Hes going to loose lots of fans. Now that his team wont release him, what are his options? To play at Green Bay, but not as Quarterback (I DOUBT that will happen), or asked to be traded to another team???

Greenbay, originally, would have loved to take him back as QB, but he kept saying he was done. Now, I think they have a new QB that there are planning to start. Sounds like he a little to late, and a little too gone.

I just dont understand his intentions. Maybe someone wth more sports knowledge than I can add some insight.

Anyone else think that Favre is insane to move to another team. He Retired. If GB wont give him his position back, I think he should STAY retired.

As much as I like and respect Favre(although I'm a die hard Giants fan), he's being an idiot right now. The Packers did a lot to get him to stay, and he said he wanted out. Now that they're set with a starter, he wants back, but he knows its gonna pi$$ off a lot of people so he's asking to be released.

I think his arm is still messed up and he really doesn't want to go thru the training camp and such.
