Despite what the critics had to say (I usually don't agree with them anyway!), I absolutely loved this movie!! It's a comedy about an overbearing mother (Diane Keaton) setting out on a mission to find Mr. Right for her daughter (Mandy Moore) unbeknownst to her daughter. I'll admit it was more of a "chick flick" but I would also consider it a great date movie because it was very funny and would make anyone laugh despite their gender. I thought Mandy Moore gave a great perfomance, I liked her in the this movie better than any of her past roles.
Single women everywhere will definitely relate to this movie! LOL It had you laughing most of the time but even had you crying during some of the sentimental scenes. I loved the ending - it's great to leave a movie laughing! You won't be disappointed :)
