Does it exist? Yes or No.
I've heard people say it's just a rumor, but would I be surprised if it existed? Absolutely not. I think she certainly is part of Rev. Wright's church. She also seems to put her foot in her mouth given an opportunity.

My Lord, first you begrudge the man his minister, then his Church, NOW you begrudge him his freakin' WIFE! I'm starting to think this goes beyond a blatant double standard and that what is really going on is you begrudge Obama the very air he breathes.

The last few days I have heard some awful things said by people at my job and around town about how our country is finished if we elect a black man. A few people even used the "N" word. This is going to get really ugly.

It has already become ugly and will exist on both sides of the aisle.
Have you heard what "his" reverend said? Have you heard Michelle Obama's comments? All I'm saying is they give me cause for concern. There is very little that we know about either of them. He came out of nowhere. I won't follow anyone blindly. "Show me your friends and I'll show you your future." He has some questionable associates. I'm looking forward to the general election. Both he and McCain have along way to go to impress me.

I am not really satisfied with either candidate, McCain will be just a continuation of Bush's failed policies. Everyone thinks that we are safer under Bush just because we have not been attacked since 9/11. Just remember that it was more than eight years before the terrorists attacked the World Trade Center for the second time. These people are patient and will attack us when we least expect it.

While it might have been 8 years between attacks on American soil there's been plenty outside the country and directed toward American interests.
1993
Feb. 26, New York City: bomb exploded in basement garage of World Trade Center, killing 6 and injuring at least 1,040 others. In 1995, militant Islamist Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and 9 others were convicted of conspiracy charges, and in 1998, Ramzi Yousef, believed to have been the mastermind, was convicted of the bombing. Al-Qaeda involvement is suspected.
1996
June 25, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia: truck bomb exploded outside Khobar Towers military complex, killing 19 American servicemen and injuring hundreds of others. 13 Saudis and a Lebanese, all alleged members of Islamic militant group Hezbollah, were indicted on charges relating to the attack in June 2001.
1998
Aug. 7, Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: truck bombs exploded almost simultaneously near 2 U.S. embassies, killing 224 (213 in Kenya and 11 in Tanzania) and injuring about 4,500. 4 men connected with al-Qaeda 2 of whom had received training at al-Qaeda camps inside Afghanistan, were convicted of the killings in May 2001 and later sentenced to life in prison. A federal grand jury had indicted 22 men in connection with the attacks, including Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden, who remained at large.
2000
Oct. 12, Aden, Yemen: U.S. Navy destroyer USS Cole heavily damaged when a small boat loaded with explosives blew up alongside it. 17 sailors killed. Linked to Osama bin Laden, or members of al-Qaeda terrorist network.

Yeah, I figured you would bring up the other attacks, but I was speaking of ones that were on American soil.
I believe this will become a race debate and not an issues debate.
I think election will prove to be the one with the least amount of apathy involved. I don't think as a country we have been this energized over a presidential election in recent times.

So Americans that don't happen to reside in the good old US of A don't matter as much?

What EDS said is true; I also think the Democrats needed to take an indepth look at themselves and hopefully some good will come of it. Either that or they will bury their heads in the sand and their house of cards is going to come tumbling down.

I agree that all the controversy about Obama is racially motivated. Many people will never admit it, but im sure the thought is sitting in the back of their minds. (sounds like the whole wlfd. mosque issue...)
Anyway, i actually havent heard about "whitey tapes" from Obama's wife - anyone care to briefly explain what this is about?

Again putting words in my mouth. Ofcourse they matter, but most Americans will be more concerned about Los Angeles being attacked then some place overseas where a few Americans are killed. That is just the way it is. Over 4,000 Americans have been killed in Iraq, and many were killed by terrorists and we are still there.
Is it me or does Obama's voice sound like "The Rock"?

He does sound like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, hopefully his finical reasoning is better than the Rock's

This is a rumor being spread, straight out of Karl Rove's playbook, that Michelle Obama made some racially charged comments..Of course the Republican noise machine, which is spreading this rumor, cannot produce evidence of it. Why let facts interfere with a good innuendo? They have nothing else to run their campaign on. Discussing the issues is a loser for them.
