The passing of Ken Robinson

We sorry to hear about the passing of Deputy Managing Editor Ken Robinson his conurbations to our communities will be sorely missed. May the Peace of GOD be with his family.

I was lucky enough to work with Ken for a year, but many in the Record Journal had the good fortune to spend years working with Ken.
He was an old-fashioned journalist who became a role model for me; he was gentle but firm in his criticism, always willing to talk through problems or issues with reporters, and a generally amazing guide through the journalism mine field. He was also a truly good friend.
People like Ken don't come along often in life. I feel incredibly blessed to have known him.
I have no doubt he is entertaining people in his new life with his hilarious and sometimes ribald stories of life here with all of us.
Life will be different without him; I look forward to seeing him again one day.
To all those in mourning at the RJ - my heart is with you.
