Are these Americans?
By the look of the all backpacks and the palm tree in the middle of the picture I'm betting San Franciscan's, so no not Americans.
And on second look, the familiar "Do not enter" sign. San Fran tried to ban firearms outright and got shot down, so to speak. That's a town I won't miss seeing. In fact, CA is not exactly my favorite spot. Got a brother in Irvine. My only reason to go there.
It's utterly amazing that we can point any fingers at China.

Eds and RC...If you don't like San Fran, Airstrip One may be more to your liking.;)

Hello.....
I love that protesters sign....
" Would we have allowed Nazi germany to host the Olympics ? "
A sign OBVIOUSLY NOT waved on an American College Campus ...I hope !
How very LAME..... and telling of today's ignorant youth's
Did... WE allow Nazi Germany to host the Olympics in 1936 ???
YES... we did allow it. It really ticked Hitler off when a Black American
won a gold metal too...duh
Don't you KIDS learn HISTORY any more ????
Technically the Nazis, and Hitler, were not in power when Berlin was chosen to host the Olympics. Nazism was on the rise after The Great War from the turmoil that was in Germany. Berlin was chosen in 1931 but the games took place in 1936. Nazis gained power afterwards, in 1933, Hitler allowed the Olympics to take place because he wanted to use it as a platform to promote his agenda. Hitler became Germany's leader in 1933. In 1936 he had not yet become the pariah he was to become. It wasn't until 1939 that Hitler invades Poland which starts WWII. Though in 1939 it was not at full scale. It would not become a global war until 1941.
Minor technicality.

Hello....
Yes... That's true but the US did opt NOT to boycot the games...
we HAD an opportunity to protest a growing fear of Hitler and his
party, but like today... sport before principal.

Much could be said about peace. It has not solved anything either. But then again it wasn't supposed to.
That sign is hilarious.
