Hopefully you'll be the last young people (how old are you, eleven?) we hear from, if the drivel you write is what we'd have to put up with. I for one will go to the poetry section, if I want to read poetry and for the other suicidal maniac with blood on their hands, I hope you get your behind booted off this site!

To collie...

Wow Collie, what was that all about? You would think people would be happy to hear the opinions from a different generation.

If you check and see the last time either of these kids posted, you'll see it was that day. Nice! Who are the adults here?

Seriously Collie, your statement was much more juvenile than anything either of these kids wrote.

I've come to the conclusion that there are a fare share of people on this board that have issues with the younger crowd.

I would say so.

CJollie, Very often I agree with you but every once in a while you seem to go down a negative lane. This one and recently with downtown. What's up?

oh collie- you are on a soap box all the time with many, many stupid postings- and you have the nerve to hope that the young people get booted off? get real. get educated. get out of dodge.

I didn't agree with Collie's post, but why all the venom? I find it ironic that people accusing her of being mean-spirited are now being exactly that. Why not just disagree, explain why, and be respectful about it?

I'm interested in how different age groups look at things. I would like to have an exchange of idea's with different people, however the way you teenagers are expressing yourselves in this post I couldn't understand what you are trying to convey. Remember you are looking for a dialog so try to find a common language that we can all understand. If you won't try to find a common language it'll show me you don't want to communicate. However if you can't and want to it'll just convince me what I thought all along is correct and that is teachers are over paid and useless as far a educating goes they are just expensive babysitters.

You've gotta be kidding me. You think teachers are overpaid and useless??? I really hope that's a joke. And what message didn't get conveyed in this post. The OP was simply asking if there were other teenagers on this board. I don't think it could have been much clearer than that.

No joke about teachers from what I see and read they're nothing but overpaid babysitters. However this isn't my post so I'll say goodbye now and put up my own post in a day or so.

Well seeing that my wife is one of the overpaid useless teachers, i'm waiting with baited breath to hear what you've got to say.

I found these initial entries disturbing and irritating because the posters used the names
BLEED ME OUT and SUICIDAL ECSTASY. One also threw in a comment about "Blood on his Hands."

And you think I'M negative??? Give me a break! I am glad they did not return; hopefully they visited a shrink instead.

I was a teenager in the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s...
I had friends with “nicknames” like
Swinger...
Pawprints... (ya don’t wanna know!!!)
Sunbeam (OK... a Few of those!)
Moonbeam (And several of those!)
Psycho..

My dad always asked me why I would associate with someone called “Psycho”

It was just a Nickname Dad!

We are NOT the Youth of Today....

RC12L4... Just curious...
How old are you?
You present some very interesting views on these Forums.
Keep it up!

And... To Collie...
What is / was YOUR nickname?
Once upon a time...?

We are NOT the Youth of Today....
I think RC12L4 is the Future of our Country!

Scary...

I am from the feared Generation X............oh no!!!

I just like to poke fun at people who seem to constantly make reference to "kids today" like they are the problem for just about everything. The reality is its the generation who's complaining about the kids who are the ones actually running this country.

Like Hillary, she must have ''mis-spoke'', I did it last month and almost got FIRED! Also, Plz don't needlessly ask anyone to be booted  I was banned from Feb to June for [I assume] typing a similarly messed-up WORD like PXZZiez and got no incidental explaination as to whut/when/who/were/how , thus, there is no free-speech on administered BBS's/Blogs/CHATs. And, only Federal laws apply to myspace/myface/mybook/Utube etc.
BTW, my wife & I had a most enjoyable dinner at a Tavern/Resturante in Yalesville recently and the Conversations from 2 big groups of College kids was most entertaining [ although Loud and a few bloody Profanities thrown in [ not as bad as a PG movie though!] ]
we even got to interact with these youngins' and they promised to look up T.Boone Pickens and his http://www.PickensPlan.com while their typical Idealism is still a passion.

Collie HAD the OPINION and 'Da Kidz are Alright' only dribbled a QUESTION to his generation. people need to keep out of other peoplez space unless invited or else the wrath of the 'Political Police' will knock headz.
