There S+S small engine repair on west main near centenial. I think that's the street names.

Also try Sears Hardware in Wallingford near Petco. They sell the mantis tiller.

I was thinking of getting a mantis tiller. Sounds like its not too good a product, eh?

Mantis is well known company that makes gas powered tillers which are tillers that grind up soil in preparation for planting vegetables in gardens and other plants. Their tines are guaranteed for life so they're very popular. The tines are the parts of the machine the directly contact the soil and so are in contact with rocks and things that could break them. Having the guarantee makes that machine more desirable for that reason. However it would seem from user experience that perhaps other parts of the machine may be an issue. I am on the fence about which tiller to buy.

Actually, I've had it for 17 years! I've never had a problem with it until now. I'd get another one in a minute.

For repairs, how about Greenbackers, is it, on Paddock Ave. They service lawnmowers. The hardware store on East Main, can't remember the name for the life of me and I should know it - it was on the corner of Paddock and East Main for years and is now further east near the old Spot restaurant. The older gentleman who owns it is a wealth of knowledge and also repairs lawnmowers. The hardware store on West Main and Centennial closed a few years ago but I got the repair guys phone number before they closed. If you want it, email me.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! Collie, I think you mean Civale's. Can believe I didn't think of him! If he can't help, I'll e-mail you for the other number.
