Hmmm...I think we need some new topics to discuss! Anyone have anything interesting on their minds? Any interesting television shows (lol), or movies out? Read a good book lately? Any bad experiences with store workers or just other people? I need something to talk about!

Hi Modern! Personally, I would Never see a blind acupuncturist...or probably any blind doctor in general. I dont know too much about acupuncture, but I would think if you hit the wrong vein or nerve, that there could be serious side effects. I know having a disability shouldn't stop you from hasving a good job, but it seems obvious that there are some things some peole cannot do. I think they will probably deny her her license again, and then she will probably sue and make a lot of money. It does seem like the denial is against the American Disability Act, but there has to be some eay to distinguish that some people cannot have certain jobs. Even if she did get her llicense, her insurance would probably be sky high.
Recently, I watched the movie "Balls of Fury" (horrible, I dont reccomend it!), but they did have a hilarious scene about this same situation. The patient runs out of the room and the doctor cant cant find him.
Interesting topic - I wonder what will happen.
Let the public decide. If no one goes to see her, she earns no profits and she goes out of business.
Would I see one?
I quote :
"The 31-year-old practices as a graduate intern in the student clinic of the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin.
She has earned a master's degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine and passed the national board exams."
She passed her boards, which have practicals, and she practices her trade as well. If she can do that blind then I would go to her. How many seeing doctors today leave instruments in their patients? It happens more than you think.
They make the claim of bleeding being unnoticed. Don't you think the patient would notice that? Perhaps the doctor's has heightened sense of smell? Blood has as scent. Who knows? I am sure if that was an issue, she would not be currently practicing and have passed her exams.
