Innocence---
Is it aware,
does it know who's there?
Does it really care?
In the shadows of night ,
Does it feel fright?
Does it fight ?
Or run in flight?
With trusting eyes,
Does it realize?
The ways of Innocence,
The ways of bliss,
We, the fools who question this,
Innocence happily marches on,
Wide-Eyed knowing -
into the dawn,
Where Mother Earth swells,
Where the honey-bees tell,
The secrets of time,
the reason and rhyme,
Where the honey suckle grow-
Innocence Knows...
