The robots march in obedient stride
Behind the LEADER of the tribe,
Singing, chanting, calling his name,
Lifting him to a grandiose plane.
Will he turn left or will he turn right?
To which cause will he lend his might?
His power is built with a mighty voice,
One which leaves the masses no choice
But to follow behind his hypnotic lead,
Trying to understand his creed,
For his message may not always be clear
And the followers hear what they wish to hear.
They hang their hopes on the one who leads
With faith that he will fulfill their needs.
The LEADER knows the strength he commands,
He knows he holds their fate in his hands,
So which will be the road he will choose?
Will his followers win or will they lose?
Will he take the fork that shows the way
To love and light and a better day?
Or will he wander the opposite path
Where the Prince of darkness shows his wrath,
And love is forbidden and hate is allowed,
And his mesmeric voice controls the crowd?
Will the LEADER heed his followers cries
For hope and fairness and realize,
Toward kindness, compassion and peace he should strive
So that he and the human race can survive?
