This movie stars Judi Dench as Barbara Covett and Cate Blanchett as Sheba Hart. They are teachers. One who has been around for years and one who is new to the school. Cate Blanchett gets involved with one of her students and is found out by Barbara Covett (Judi Dench). Barbara manipulates the situation (so she thinks) to her benefit, to have a hold on Cate Blanchett.
It tells of the family devistation and upheaval to their professional lives. Barbara Covett it turns out has been around the block a few times, and can be a jealous manipulative person. I can relate to this subject as it has been in our news several times over the past few years.
The movie was good, but definately not for action lovers.
