insomnia

Not quite sure if anyone is going to be able to relate to this poem. I was suffering from extreme insomnia when I wrote it lol. Reading it now its a fun poem :D I hope you enjoy!

Grabbing at spots
that dance in the air
not really knowing
if they are even there

wishing that i
was all tucked in tight
wishing that sleep
was clearly in sight

sleeplessness causes
stress and dispair
the visons are real
but then they disappear

Staring deep
back into space
Has sleep abandoned me?
Left with no trace?

Im tired, Im drowzy
My head is a cloud
But sleep im sorry
thats just not allowed...

It IS a fun poem! Insomnia never feels good, but at least you have the satisfaction of having composed a new poem, and amusing to boot.
