A walk through the woods
to the old swimming hole

Friends 'round a table
play monopoly
--------------------------------Sit on the sofa
--------------------------------and watch the TV
Bike rides with friends
or maybe our scooters
--------------------------------Alone in the bedroom
--------------------------------with a computer
Dinner each evening,
the whole family
--------------------------------Fast food and take out
--------------------------------all in a hurry
Walk home from school
and Mom's always there
--------------------------------Go home to no one
--------------------------------or wait at daycare
Fun and contentment
in so many ways
--------------------------------We have made progress
--------------------------------but "those were the days".
