Meriden at least - lets count them...starting west...one..near stop and shop - Two - corner of cook and West main (the first DD) - three East main - Four - Broad Street accross from Food Bag...five IN stop and shop - broad st six...Past Hancock Pharmacy - seven in Valero Gas STation - eight in the Hospital - EIGHT is what I get, I feel like I'm forgetting one or two.

Can we have a Moritorium on DD's? they are ugly, the are expensive and the quality of their coffee is highly inconsistant. I try my best to avoid them - there's Tim Hortons...STone House - Starbucks. - et als.?

And speaking of that DD in the hospital?? - Isn't rather cruel to have that sitting there in direct contact with people who haven't been allowed to eat or drink anything all morning/day because they're going in for surgery? - That struck me last week...as I sat there waiting with a relative who was going into the surgy center - when she stated the smell of the coffee was driving her crazy.

Only eight? It does seems like more. Did you count the one in S&S? Yes, it is a bit incongruous that the hospital that is supposedly encouraging health and good eating habits has a Dunkin Donuts right inside the building. There's a mixed message there!

Don't forget the pawn shops.

It seems that DD is a big New England thing though, I grew up in N.E. Pennsylvania and we have a few, but it's nothing like New England.

Funny thing was we had Krispy Creme and Price Chopper there my whole life, but they just hit CT a few years ago.
